Description
OGM is seeking an experienced Irrigation Foreman to join our growing Construction team. We are hiring immediately, with competitive pay based on experience. This is a great opportunity for a skilled leader ready to thrive in a team-oriented environment within a dynamic, expanding company.
As Irrigation Foreman, you will play a critical role in the repair, maintenance, and installation of high-quality golf course irrigation systems. You will lead a team, coordinate projects, and ensure efficient, reliable execution — with a strong focus on 2-wire irrigation systems and HDPE pipe fusion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of irrigation technicians to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily tasks, irrigation installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
Oversee 2-wire system installations, decoder programming, troubleshooting, and repairs
Perform and supervise HDPE pipe fusion (butt fusion and electrofusion), mainline installation, and related piping work
Manage project-related supplies, equipment usage, and inventory tracking
Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
Troubleshoot irrigation controls, valves, and electrical systems
Utilize computer-based tracking and reporting processes
Facilitate clear communication between team members, management, and clients for timely project execution
Required Experience and Skills
2-3+ years of hands-on golf course irrigation installation and construction experience
Strong experience with 2-wire irrigation systems — including installation, decoder setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance (highly preferred)
Proven expertise in HDPE pipe fusion (butt fusion and electric/electrofusion) and HDPE pipe handling/installation
Experience with irrigation control troubleshooting and system diagnostics
Solid leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply
Ability to work Monday to Friday with weekend availability as needed (typically 55 hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours)
Compensation
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
